What We Do

Five ways we support the search.

Each activity contributes to a broader effort to locate missing people, share reliable information, and keep cases in public view.

Investigative Research & Analysis

We examine public records, news reports, and online sources, verify information, and organize case details to uncover overlooked connections and potential leads in missing persons cases.

Physical Searches

We help coordinate and support organized ground searches, identify areas of interest, and work with search volunteers and appropriate authorities to help locate missing persons.

Public Tip Collection

We collect tips and information from the public regarding missing persons cases, document relevant details, and forward appropriate information to the proper authorities for review and follow-up.

Flyer Distribution

We share and distribute missing persons flyers to expand their reach, increase public visibility, and help get important case information into the community.

Case Awareness & Advocacy

We help keep missing persons cases in the public eye and advocate for continued attention, responsible information-sharing, and support for affected families.

Our Mission

From Flyer Distribution to a Broader Mission

America’s Lost & Found began in 2013 with a focus on distributing missing-persons flyers and helping cases reach a wider audience. Over time, that work grew into a broader effort to support missing-persons cases through research, public awareness, community involvement, and search-related support.

Although our work has expanded, keeping cases visible and helping information reach the people who may be able to act on it remain central to our purpose.
